H.E GOV. AKINWUNMI AMBODE SIGNS THREE IMPORTANT BILLS INTO LAW

H.E Akinwunmi Ambode, The Governor of Lagos State signed three important bills into law; the Prohibition of the Act of Kidnapping; the Sports Trust Fund Law, and the Sport Commission Law today at the Lagos House, Alausa. These laws have been enacted to address key issues bordering on security and effectively harnessing the potentials in the sports sector.
The Prohibition of the Act of Kidnapping law will address the challenge of kidnapping and punish criminals. The Sports Commission Law will give legal backing to the formulation and implementation of sports policies in the State while the Sports Trust Fund will enable government to raise money for the development of sporting facilities and activities.
